Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Way
146 mile circular cycle route exploring the rolling chalk Wolds

The quiet country lanes that criss-cross the rolling chalk hills of the Yorkshire Wolds are a cycling treat, leading to wonderful views, wildlife, historic places and pretty villages. 1. A very efficient service – baggage always delivered before we arrived at accommodation. also received favourable comments from b and b owners about the efficiency of the service. It was fortunate that we used the service as one of our b and b’s had made a mistake and overbooked (letting our rooms to others). Thankfully it did give the b and b time to sort things out before we arrived.

The Wolds’ cycle ride is most enjoyable, mainly on quiet roads and good tracks, and relatively benign regarding gradients. I have to say that the motorists were very considerate when meeting or overtaking us on the narrow roads. We visited Burnby Hall Gardens, The Eden Camp, Sledmere House and Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve. I managed a photo of a puffin.

A great time and we managed to avoid the rain.

    Thank you.

  2. A friend and I used Brigantes baggage service whilst we cycled the Wolds Way. The Wolds Way is a lovely cycle route and our baggage was always there when we arrived at accomodation.
One of the accomodations I had chosen, independently of Brigantes, was not expecting us. So it was not always straightforward for the delivery person. It was good to have a reliable service.
    Thank-you.
