Places of Interest
Malham is a small village, in the Pennines, at the southern base of the Yorkshire Dales. It's a pretty place, surrounded by limestone dry-stone walls, & with a stream running right through the middle of the village

The Walk4Life website is totally FREE and has thousands of walk ideas all over the Britain. The website uses OS maps which can easily be printed out at home. You can also keep a track of the walks you have done and set yourselves a target!

- Alston Youth Hostel
Alston Youth Hostel is situated on the edge of Alston town high up in the North Pennines in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The Pennine Way and South Tyne Trail runs right by the side of the hostel which is the first accommodation you reach
- Beck Hall in Malham
