I booked the Wolds Way walk hoping for a relaxing trip to help me recover from serious illness. The walk was wonderful and Brigantes booked us into lovely accommodation making everything very easy and straight forward. This is a little known route but one I would highly recommend for ease of navigation and beautiful mellow scenery. Some of the villages have no internet or television and this was bliss as we could truly relax and make friends with fellow travellers. Thixendale in particular was really special.

Just spent 6 great days walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The walk is not strenuous,, the countryside is beautiful and completely unknown to us and Filey is a great place to finish. Paddling feet in the North Sea followed by ice cream is a great way to finish. We booked our own accommodation which is possible but not that easy as there is a shortage of accommodation along the exact route so needs to be done early, but Brigantes were fantastic moving our bags. All on time and absolutely no complaints. We would thoroughly recommend the route and Brigantes.

We finished the Yorkshire Wold Way on May 10th 2018 having chosen the most perfect weather and the most efficient and thoughtful company – I mean Brigantes. Many thanks for choosing the most comfortable and hospitable accommodations. They were all different but all excellent. The walk itself showed off the beauty of a little known part of Yorkshire. We had views of York Minster from one of the paths. Thanks for making this a very memorable and enjoyable holiday.

We have just returned from 6 days walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way. It was a lovely time of year to do the walk. Fresh green leaves on the trees and hedges, tadpoles and ducklings on the ponds, red kites circling overhead and beautiful views over the Yorkshire countryside. The accommodation was all superb and the breakfasts and evening meals in local establishments more than adequate for hungry walkers.
From Roy’s smiling face welcoming us on the first day as we trudged through Hessle in the pouring rain to hand over our luggage, to Annette’s phone call to make sure we were alright on the last evening as we hadn’t booked into our B&B by 6.30 (we were sitting on the beach eating fish and chips) all went smoothly.
Thank you Brigantes, we would be happy to use you again.

Finished the walk on the Wolds Way a couple of weeks ago. Scenery spectacular and weather fine. Pubs & guest houses were excellent and luggage was delivered with no problems. Hoping to do another next year, thanks to all.

We have just returned from our six day walking holiday in the Yorkshire Wolds. The countryside was varied and stunning. With Brigantes help, we felt we had pitched the mileage right with the maximum being a 15 mile day. A big thank you to Annette and Brigantes who organised the logistics and provided an excellent itinerary and baggage service making the walking easier for us. Please pass on our thanks to Roy and to the drivers who ferried us to and from Filey, all were good humoured and punctual. I would certainly use Brigantes again on a similar holiday!

6 of us from The Ramblers, Manchester Coach Rambles Group, came back from 3 days walking 42 miles of the Wolds Way extremely pleased with everything. All the B&Bs were superb. Greenwick Farm was stunning and Fran and Owen were a pleasure to meet. We couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, friendly host in Jeannie at Robeanne House. The walking through the meadows with the wild flowers, the huge swaying fields in the cool breeze, the woods, the pretty villages and of course the rolling hills, was just such a joy. Thank you Brigantes for organising our accommodation and luggage transport. Hi to Roy, the driver. Hope to see him next July when we come back to complete the Wolds Way.

Dear Annette. Just to say thanks again for a faultless baggage service on our recent Wolds walk. This must be the third or fourth time we have used you and we have never been let down. I would recommend Brigantes to any walker or cyclist. Huge thanks to the team of drivers. Very best, John Harrow

Just back from 5 days on the Wolds Way, which we enjoyed tremendously: such good pathways, lovely (remote) countryside – the May flowers and woodlands were a delight- , and friendly folks wherever we went. Thank you so much for making all our arrangements run so smoothly and for booking us into super accommodation at every stage.

My husband Bernard and I completed our first long distance walk – the Wolds Way – last Sunday and just wanted to thank you for the excellent service you provided in transporting our luggage. We are contemplating doing the Dales Way in the future and will definitely use you again

We got back from walking the Wolds Way yesterday and I am just writing on behalf of all of us to say what a superb holiday it was. The accommodation was absolutely brilliant throughout and Mal and his colleagues were great, punctual and very helpful. So thank you very much indeed for putting it all together so well, you could not have done a better job for us!

Thank you for arranging our walk. The accommodation was very good throughout: to a high standard with very friendly and hospitable people. Roy, your courier, was also was very helpful and considerate. Greenwick Farm was of course extra special, as was Fran who drove us down to the pub and then collected us after our meal.

We’re just back from our Yorkshire Wolds Way walk which we finished yesterday. We got the hottest day in the last 5 years on Day 1 and the best week of the year for weather. Just to let you know that everything went well and the baggage transfers were perfect. Thanks for organising this and can you pass our thanks onto the driver(s) who transferred our bags so efficiently. We are planning to do the Hadrian’s Wall Path later this year and two more walks next year leading up to The Pennine Way in 2013 (Trevor’s 60th year!) and we will definitely be using your service again for all of these.
