Mobile Digital Mapping
Digital maps can be viewed on most modern smartphones using an appropriate app, downloaded from the app store associated with your device. Brigantes recommend that whichever app you use, it should support Ordnance Survey 1:25k or 1:50k scale maps. There are many apps to choose from, but the two main providers are Ordnance Survey and Memory Map.

Each provider’s app has its own benefits, but both provide all-important offline navigation, meaning your device does not need a mobile signal to work effectively on the trail.

5 Replies to “Inn Way to the North York Moors”

  1. Brigantes kindly agreed to move our luggage on a bespoke 7 day walking tour of the North Yorks Moors. Very helpful information and labels pre trip and everything ran perfectly during the tour. Can highly recommend Brigantes.

  2. Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our second Inn Way to North Yorks. As always with Brigantes our accommodation was first rate and our luggage was always waiting on our arrival. What more can you ask? Well, good weather and this time we actually had that too, so all in all a very successful holiday.
We love trekking holidays and the novelty of staying at a different place each night. Booking our treks with Brigantes takes the worry out of the holidays as we know the accommodation and logistics will always be of the very highest standards.

  3. We have just returned from our fourth “InnWay” walking holiday organised by Brigantes. As always, everything worked out perfectly: superb walking in the North Yorkshire Moors; delightful Inns; efficient baggage carriage. It is tempting to think that you also organised good weather for us.
Once again we thank you for your professional, efficient and friendly service. As long as we continue hiking we will continue to use Brigantes. We strongly recommend your services to other hikers and bikers etc.

  4. Just a quick note to thank you for organising our ‘Inn Way to the North York Moors’. Our bags were always waiting for us and the accommodation you arranged was first rate, without exception. Good food and nice people! We had a great time even though the weather was mixed, however I suppose the weather is the one thing Brigantes can’t organise! We found the walk to be through very attractive country, often taking you to parts of the NY Moors that are little walked but well worth seeing. We had a very successful holiday and we hope to do some of the other Inn Way walks and we will definitely use Brigantes when we do!

    1. Thank you for your lovely comments, we look forward to arranging your next holiday on one of the other Inn Way walks!
