The Bracken Way is a route which was originally set out by some walkers and lovers of the Yorkshire Dales, and named after their Border Collie “Bracken”.
The walk starts in the market town of Settle and is a circular route, exploring some of the best parts of the Yorkshire Dales, including Malham with its impressive Cove, Gordale Scar and Malham Tarn, Arncliffe renowned for the Water Babies, and the original Emmerdale Farm, Kettlewell, West Burton, Wensleydale, of James Herriot fame, Dentdale, Ingleton with its impressive water falls, Ingleborough (one of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks), and finishing in Settle.
We have worked out itineraries to suit most abilities, below. Our local knowledge is second to none, being based in Littondale & Malham. With our own locally based drivers, this is a walk though not well known, will be very enjoyable for those looking for an alternative route in the Yorkshire Dales.
