Teesdale Way: Walk Information

This route is approximately 88 miles long, starting in Dufton, in the Eden Valley, and ending in Warrenby, near Redcar, having followed the River Tees for most of the route, eventually reaching the North Sea Coast and the heavily industrialised Teeside area, with its once proud ship building heritage. The path passes through the lowland Tees valley and historic settlements of Piecebridge and Barnard Castle.

The path is waymarked, following the Pennine Way from Dufton as far as Middleton in Teesdale, where the wooden signs change to show the Teesdale Way.
