This former youth hostel was originally a shooting lodge and is strategically placed on the Pennine Way and Coast to Coast footpaths.
Keld is a small village at the head of Swaledale and is surrounded by moorland scenery, a superb situation for enjoying the short walks or hikes over the fells. This peaceful and unspoilt village is an ideal location to enjoy a relaxing break from the rigours of daily life or an overnight whilst undertaking a long distance walk.
Accommodation for walkers, holidaymakers, cyclists and passing trade, is provided, with restaurant and bar facilities.
