The Coast to Coast walk is one of the most popular walks in the world. It passes through three National Parks; the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors and links the Irish Sea to the North Sea, via the hills, moors, and valleys of northern England.

 

Itinerary

This fixed, 16 day, 18 night itinerary includes the following:

    • Hand-picked accommodation in B&Bs/guest houses/inns/small hotels
    • Night in St. Bees prior to the walk
    • Night in Robin Hood’s Bay after the walk
    • En-suite facilities where available
    • Breakfast
    • Daily baggage transfers from our own team of local drivers

First night in St. Bees on Friday 22nd May, last night in Robin Hood’s Bay on Monday 8th June

Day 1 – St. Bees to Ennerdale Bridge (14.5m) – personal transport to Rowrah
Day 2 – personal transport to Ennerdale Bridge walk to Rosthwaite (14.3m)
Day 3 – Rosthwaite to Grasmere (7.6m)
Day 4 – Grasmere to Patterdale (8m)
Day 5 – Patterdale to Bampton Grange (12.2m)
Day 6 – Bampton Grange to Orton (13.9m)
Day 7 – Orton to Kirkby Stephen (12.8m)
Day 8 – Rest Day in Kirkby Stephen
Day 9 – Kirkby Stephen to Keld (11.1m))
Day 10 – Keld to Reeth (10.7m)
Day 11 – Reeth to Richmond (10.2m)
Day 12 – Richmond to Danby Wiske (13.6m)
Day 13 – Danby Wiske to Ingleby Cross (8.9m)
Day 14 – Ingleby Cross to Clay Bank Top (11.3m)
Day 15 – Clay Bank Top to Blakey Ridge (8.5m) – personal transport to Rosedale Abbey
Day 16 – personal transport to Blakey Ridge walk to Grosmont (13.4m)
Day 17 – Grosmont to Robin Hood’s Bay (14.6m)
